Fresh herbs add flavor to your meals without adding calories. There are some winning combinations such as these following mixes: Dill and fish, sage and veal, basil and tomatoes, cilantro and chicken.

Tip: Keep your fresh herbs close to where you cook. Harvest often to promote production and prevent them from bolting and losing flavor.

Most herbs require at least six hours of sunlight. These are perennials and can be planted in the ground.
